ASP.NET/SQL Developer – Job Description

• Basel Reporting Application provides the Bank regulatory capital reporting to the Canadian regulator, OSFI, under Basel III rules.
• This includes Basel Capital Adequacy Requirements (BCAR) Reports, Pillar III public disclosure and New Credit Risk (NCR), Economic Capital (eCap) for NCR for Canadian reporting.
• Basel Reporting Project, developing new and existing ETL feeds and in-house adjustment tool integrating 3rd party applications to internal applications and to produce updated extracts and reports

ASP.NET/SQL Developer – Mandatory Skills

• Solid/Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher experiences 3 years
• Hands-on experience on C#, ASP.NET, Web service, Web API and SQL Server, JBoss on Windows EAP 7.2 or higher
• MS SQL Server 2012/2016 3 years
• SQL code / Stored Procedures / SQL Agent Jobs 3 years
• SSRS and SSIS 3 years
• TFS/Bitbucket 3 years
• Solid Database development experiences
• Worked in an Agile development environment
• Worked on 3-tiered applications

Our client in the utilities sector, is looking for a Senior Big-Data Developer who is motivated and can build tailor made big data cloud-based applications with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
• Design and develop end-to-end Cloud based solutions supporting data integration, data ingestion, data observability, and data fulfilment.
• Build a Data Platform and services using the latest Cloud technologies like Azure.
• Build real-time streaming and batch data pipelines, metadata services, and UI dashboards for data monitoring, controls, and prediction.
• Explore opportunities for optimization of existing data services and re-designing of data infrastructure for greater scalability and performance.
• Provide support to Data Governance initiatives such as data quality, data lineage, and metadata management, and perform root-cause analysis to answer specific business questions.
• Develop detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in programming and analysis at the specified experience level
• Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
• Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications
• Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools
• Experience in one or more programming languages
